Placebo effect is a fallacy of evolution based medicine.
If we have faith in a treatment, we will get well, even if the treatment was of no benefit. That is the idea behind the placebo effect. However, if the theory of evolution was true, there could be no placebo effect.
If our intelligence, or mind, or whatever you choose to call it, was the result of the particles of matter of our bodies, then faith could not make us well. Faith would come from a change in our bodies. Therefore the treatment could only give us faith by changing our bodies, or more specifically perhaps our brains, so that we would have faith. Therefore, all treatments that changed our brains to give us faith would actually be effective treatments and there is no such thing as placebo effect.
Placebo effect is a fallacy of evolution based medicine.
